Saw kabuki play at kabuki-za last night in Tokyo. It was impressive and I recognized that Kurosawa's films are very much influenced by it.

Johnnie Walker - The Man Who Walked Around The World

Sorry, flash is not available.

Brilliant short "promotional" film! Achieved a continuous shot after 40 takes. Great job.

Dai Teikoku Gekijou

I got up very early in the morning because of the jet lug. Surfed on
the net, and found this evolutional TV program which aired 17 years
ago. I was still a collage student then and I still remember that I've
got a sort of lightning when I saw this in very late night on TV for
the first time. The attempt that to combine TV commercial with soap
opera is still very interesting, and the choice of music! I must say
thank you for someone who uploaded this from his own archive.
Very interestingly, I found this on the blog of the "great" producer
Moichi Kuwahara himself. I must thank him this time over 17 years
again, too.
"大帝国劇場" means "Great Empire Theatre".
